ACADEMIC MOBILITY
AND A DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAM
Participation is supported through Erasmus+ funding, grants from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, or scholarships provided by the host university.
The double degree program is a unique educational pathway that allows IITU students to study simultaneously at a partner university abroad and, upon completion, receive two full degrees: a national IITU Diploma and a Diploma from a foreign university.
How does it work? Typically, the program follows a “3+1” or “2+2” model: Students complete the first 2 or 3 years at IITU, and spend the final year (or two) at a partner university abroad. Courses completed overseas are credited at IITU, while courses taken at IITU are recognized by the partner institution.

Submit your application online
Online registration. Create a personal account. Choose the program you are interested in. Fill out the application form and upload scanned copies of documents in PDF format.
Collection of required documents. A personal application addressed to the Rector, an academic transcript in English, a language certificate (IELTS 5.5+/TOEFL), a copy of your national passport, a motivation letter, and other documents.
Offline confirmation. After submitting the online application, the original documents must be submitted to the Department of International Cooperation.
Deadlines. For the spring semester, applications are usually accepted in October–November. For the fall semester, applications are typically accepted in March–April.
