ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Creating an effective system of multilingual training for future IT-specialists, ensuring a high level of proficiency in Kazakh, English, and Russian for successful oral and written communication in academic, professional, and social contexts, as well as for integrating graduates into both national and international professional communities.
— Implementation of academic programs: Organize and deliver academic classes in the Kazakh, English, and Russian languages for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, based on high methodological standards and aligned with the specific needs of IT-education
— Academic and methodological support: Development, implementation, and continuous modernization of contemporary textbooks, teaching and methodological manuals, and digital educational resources in print and electronic formats, including online courses and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)
— Innovative Teaching Methods: Application of communicative, interactive, and student-centered approaches, use of digital educational platforms, project-based and problem-based learning formats, as well as modern tools for assessing learning outcomes
— Research, Project, and Personnel Activities: Participation of teaching staff in research, educational and methodological projects aimed at developing language education and integrating language training into the professional IT-context, as well as improving teachers’ qualifications and implementing modern pedagogical technologies and best international practices
— Educational and Language Policy: Implementation of the trilingual policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, development of students’ leadership qualities, critical and creative thinking, teamwork skills, and effective professional communication competencies.
