Red Hat Academy (RHA) is Red Hat’s educational initiative designed to prepare students for real-world careers in IT and DevOps. The International Information Technology University (IITU), one of the leading IT universities in Central Asia, joined the Red Hat Academy program to expand student opportunities in open technologies and system administration. Within a short period, IITU achieved impressive results: dozens of students completed training, hackathons were held, and certified Red Hat specialists were prepared.
In 2023, Red Hat recognized IITU’s excellence by awarding it the prestigious "Red Hat Academy of the Year in Europe & CIS 2023" title. This award reflects the university's outstanding teaching quality and active integration of Red Hat technologies into the educational process. In 2025, IITU reaffirmed its leadership in IT education by receiving the prestigious status of Red Hat Academy Premier Partner 2025. This status is granted to a select group of academies worldwide for their sustainable growth, academic excellence, and contributions to the open-source community.
