ABOUT IITU
VISION
Vision
The International Information Technology University is a leading educational institution in the Central Asian region in the field of training qualified, internationally recognized IT specialists.
IITU is the only university in Kazakhstan that received ASIIN institutional international accreditation in 2019 and passed the procedure of official confirmation of compliance with international standards.
IITU's vision is to be the leading educational, scientific and innovative center in the Central Asian region in the field of information and communication technologies.

MISSION
The mission of IITU is to form competencies in the field of the digital economy and society.
In its activities, the university adheres to the following principles:

2009 — 2015
— Creation of IITU in 2009;;
— The beginning of cooperation with Carnegie Mellon University;;
— First admission of applicants;
— Opening of master's and doctoral programs;
— The beginning of cooperation with the leading technical universities of Malaysia under the double degree program and with world vendors (Cisco Systems, Microsoft);
— IITU participation in ABU Robocon;
— Holding the first festival of innovative ideas HACKDAY;
— Certification of the Quality Management System (QMS);
— Opening of the Olympic Training Center for Competitive Programming ACM ICPC;
— Obtaining National Institutional and Specialized Accreditation of IQAA.
