The Department of Educational and Social Work is a unit of the International Information Technology University responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating activities aimed at creating a comfortable and safe learning environment. It was established in 2024 to support students' personal and professional growth, develop their social and leadership qualities, and assist with career guidance.

• Organizing educational and social work with IITU students aimed at fostering active citizenship, social awareness and personal development.
• Developing and implementing programs and events that help students engage in the social life of the university, including cultural, sports and educational initiatives.
• Ensuring cooperation with other university units and external organizations within the Department's tasks and functions. The procedure is determined by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Affairs.
• Monitoring and analyzing students' needs in educational work and social initiatives, and developing recommendations to improve the Department's work.
• Holding educational and training events to build the Department staff's competencies and students' skills in leadership, teamwork and social responsibility.
• Systematizing reporting on events and programs and evaluating their effectiveness against established criteria.

To create conditions for students' all-round personal, social and civic development, to foster lasting moral values, social responsibility and a culture of conduct, and to provide social support and protect students' rights and legitimate interests.

The Department helps build a supportive educational and social environment, develops civic engagement, student self-government and volunteer initiatives, promotes students' social adaptation and inclusion, and strengthens cooperation between students, faculty and the university administration.
