Military education

The Military Department of JSC IITU was established on 5 December 2018 in accordance with Order No. 843 of the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The department trains students for military service as reserve officers. Its main goal is to equip students with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to defend the country and fulfil duties in the field of national security.

Development and implementation of modern educational programmes for training reserve officers and reserve sergeants in line with current requirements.
Organization and conduct of joint research with students in the field of national military security.
Involvement of students in military-patriotic activities.

Mission — training reserve officers and reserve sergeants for the Armed Forces and other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan who are loyal to the President and Government, morally resilient, disciplined, capable of keeping official and state secrets, with high moral standards, and with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform their duties in accordance with their military specialty.
