Training on Tuning methodology at the University of York in Thessaloniki, Greece
Training on the Tuning methodology started today at the University of York in Thessaloniki, Greece, under the Erasmus+ ALLVET project. For #IITU this is the second project on introducing the Tuning methodology into the education system of Kazakhstan. The focus is on learning outcomes and a competence-based approach, which deliver results when these principles are followed consistently. This principle, applied at IITU, has kept us among the leaders in all rankings of universities and programmes for the past 5 years. This year IITU ranks 1st in ICT in the Atameken ranking, and our Journalism, Media and Public Relations programme ranks 2nd among all universities in Kazakhstan. The main criteria are a focus on results and a competence-based approach involving stakeholders. Today's meeting in Thessaloniki is another stage in the professional development of the IITU faculty group, who will hold trainings for teachers of technical colleges and universities upon their return.
