At the International Information Technology University #IITU_KZ a round table was held under the Erasmus+ ELBA project with Kazakh employers and European data analysis specialists. Representatives of major Kazakh companies such as Kazakhtelecom, Kaspi, First Credit Bureau, Frontier, Microsoft, Deloitte and a digital agency took part in the discussion. The partners discussed the prospects for developing this field in Kazakhstan, the opportunities offered by data analysis and the expansion of data-driven services. As part of the cooperation between European and Kazakh universities, University of Santiago de Compostela lecturers Anselmo Tomás Fernández Pena and David Enrique Losada Carril, who specialize in data analysis projects, held data analysis trainings for faculty. Sami Ashour, Director of the International Department of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and head of the Erasmus+ ELBA project, gave an interview to a national TV channel and IT News journalists.
