Goal of the project:

The project aims to build capacity for training highly qualified specialists in Intelligent Big Data Analysis (IBDA) with diverse interdisciplinary backgrounds and to provide access to high-performance modern IBDA tools based on EU experience and technology, contributing to the sustainable development of educational institutions, local businesses and society as a whole.

Objectives of the project:

• The first specific objective — developing an interdisciplinary package of modular IBDA courses for the bachelor's and master's programmes of partner universities and industry companies in Central Asia by July 2021 — addresses the shortage of qualified specialists in innovative fields, IBDA in particular, in the economies of the Central Asian partner countries.

Partner universities will help solve this problem by integrating the developed IBDA courses into their current bachelor's and master's curricula. The course packages will modernize existing curricula by introducing new, innovative IBDA subjects. These courses will help meet the economy's demand for qualified specialists more flexibly and strengthen cooperation between universities and industry.

• The second specific objective — establishing IBDA centres and an academic and professional network of specialists at partner universities in Central Asia by October 2020 — addresses insufficient public awareness and adoption of innovative technologies, in particular Big Data Analysis. The network will foster more effective cooperation among the consortium partners and further cooperation among Big Data Analysis specialists in Central Asia.
