On 18–19 May 2021, the Department of Media Communications and History of Kazakhstan of the International Information Technology University hosted the international online conference “Digital Journalism and Information Security: Global Experience and National Strategies”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Alua Dzhumabayeva, lecturer at IITU, gave a talk on several aspects of the ALLVET training. In particular, she focused on collaboration in e-learning (online learning activities, joint group activities, group discussions, and feedback and assessment activities).

The talk also addressed effectiveness and knowledge retention, with an emphasis on combining several methods of assessing students based on learning outcomes.

Overall, the conference was very interesting, and the presence of an ALLVET project participant prompted interesting questions and discussion.
