Ordered structures corresponding to countable categoricity
GOAL
Project Goal
The research is devoted to the relationship between the notions of binarity and almost ω-categoricity in weakly o-minimal theories, as well as the relationship between the notions of almost binarity and countable categoricity in weakly circularly minimal theories.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Relevance
The project develops general model theory and is aimed at solving the problem of classifying ordered algebraic systems and their elementary theories. The research topics of this project are currently relevant to the development of the theory of algebraic systems and are being intensively studied at the world's leading mathematical centers.
The scientific impact will consist in obtaining new results in the study of variants of o-minimality for ordered structures, as well as in studying their derived objects. This will contribute to the further development of general model theory. The socio-economic impact will consist in increasing the country's intellectual potential, training new researchers and the possible further application of the results to applied fields such as the general theory of relational databases and formal methods of software development.
PLANS
Expected Results
- The main problems will be stated and finite-dimensional equations approximating them will be constructed;
- At least 2 articles will be published in journals ranked in the top three quartiles by impact factor in Web of Science or having a CiteScore percentile of at least 50 in Scopus.
