She was born in 1951 in Tashkent, worked in newspapers Komsomolets Uzbekistan, Pravda Vostoka, Izvestia, etc. Then she moved to Leningrad, worked as a laboratory assistant at the Soviet Press Department, wrote a Ph.D. thesis on the topic "Legal Propaganda in the Newspaper ".
