On January 8, the Chairman of the Board - Rector met with coaches of basketball, futsal, volleyball, chess and togyzkumalaku teams at IITU. A progress report for the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year was presented and here are the great results we have:
- The IITU basketball team won the 2024 Champion Cup!
- Futsal team took the second place (vice-champion) in the Almaty City Futsal Cup among students in 2024!
- Chess team took the third place in the Cup KBTU 2024!
- IITU students became prize-winners in individual scores at the city competitions on togyzkumalak!
- Volleyball teams (men's and women's) reached the semifinals of the city championship!
The meeting also touched upon the prospects for the development of student sports at IITU, including improvement of infrastructure and support for talented athletes.
Congratulations to our athletes and coaches for their outstanding achievements, who continue to hold the leadership among students in sports disciplines! Your efforts and perseverance inspire to new heights.
