In April 2022, Akelius Foundation coordinator Philippe Testot-Ferry visited Kazakhstan as part of a joint project with Akelius, UNICEF and IITU to implement a course to improve the literacy of children who do not speak Russian. Also, IITU language and methodological experts visited a number of schools in Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent to track the progress of students and give recommendations on using the Akelius platform in the classroom. In addition, in April, online training sessions and a number of methodological consultations for teachers were held on blended learning technologies, digital learning.
