The PhD program Information Systems (IS) trains researchers and architects capable of designing and developing modern digital information systems for organizational transformation based on cloud approaches, Agile/DevOps, and data management. Doctoral students study knowledge representation and processing, as well as methods for building logical, production, and network models for expert systems and decision support systems, combining mathematical modeling with the development and implementation of software solutions.

— Analytical and research competency: Analysis, structuring, and presentation of professional information in the form of reviews with conclusions and recommendations (PC1)

— Competency in defining requirements and evaluating IS effectiveness: Development of technical specifications, defining goals, efficiency criteria, and applicability constraints (PC2, PC7)

— Design and development of information systems competency: Development of new IS design and development methods, management of architectural and engineering solutions (PC3)

— Application of AI and knowledge engineering in IS competency: Knowledge modeling, application of AI techniques, development of human-computer interaction, and optimization solutions based on AI algorithms (PC4, PC5, PC6)

— Strategic, innovation, and teamwork competency; Forecasting IS and technology development, developing competitive ideas, organizing effective collaboration and synchronization of product development stages (PC8, PC9, PC11).

— Focus on digital transformation of organizations: Training specialists capable of developing digital strategies, architectures, and platform solutions

— Modern engineering approaches: Integration of cloud, Agile/DevOps, data management, and data monetization into IS design

— Comprehensive IS lifecycle approach: From requirements and efficiency criteria to system design, development, and maintenance

— Use of AI to enhance IS: Application of knowledge engineering and AI methods for decision support, optimization, and intelligent services

— Strong management and teamwork component: Competencies' development of collaboration, synchronization stages, and staff training for sustainable implementation of solutions.
