On July 22, the International University of Information Technologies hosted a round table featuring industry experts, IT entrepreneurs, and key players from the national tech ecosystem. The event was dedicated to developing the Strategic Agenda for the Development of Kazakhstan's IT Business Until 2029, initiated by the "TechnoWomen" non-profit organization.
"TechnoWomen" is the sole association in Central Asia's ICT market promoting the growth of the digital economy, e-commerce, and a unified regional IT agenda. Today, economic integration across Central Asian nations is becoming a vital factor for regional sustainability and security — a process of high relevance within the framework of the B5+1 (Business 5+1) platform, designed for continuous public-private dialogue.
During the session, 20 leading representatives of the tech sector discussed key strategic priorities, identified existing barriers, and formulated actionable recommendations for both government bodies and businesses.
As a flagship institution in digital education and a core driver of Kazakhstan’s IT ecosystem, IITU serves as a key platform for strategic industry dialogues.
