The Teacher of the Pilot School Gave Feedback on the Akelius Project

Russian language teacher Anar Baitabenova works at the capital’s school-lyceum No. 60 with children as part of a joint project with Akelius, UNICEF and IITU, designed to develop digital skills in repatriate children and raise their literacy level.

In his video Anar Serikovna spoke about the classes on the Akelius platform and the benefits of the project for the learners.

The project “Technical support at the central level to improve Russian language skills among vulnerable groups of children for their integration and improvement of learning outcomes at the primary and secondary school level in Kazakhstan” has been implemented in the Republic Kazakhstan since September 2021 in nine pilot schools.

Assistance in the implementation of the project is given by the Swedish Akelius Foundation - it provides its platform and tablets through which children complete tasks. The project is expected to be completed in February 2023. According to calculations, at least 250 children will be able to master the course by this time.
