The department "Mathematical and computer modeling" was created in 2015 on the basis of the department "Information Systems".
Since 2010, the department has been preparing bachelors in the specialty 5B070500 - "Mathematical and computer modeling." Graduates of this specialty work at large industrial enterprises, in governing bodies, and in the banking structure.
Since 2012, a magistracy has been opened in the specialty 6M070500 - “Mathematical and Computer Modeling”.
The work of the department "Mathematical and computer modeling" is aimed at training specialists in the field of mathematical and computer modeling of physical, chemical, technological and economic processes.
Disciplines of the general education cycle of all specialties of the university and specialized disciplines for the graduated specialty are conducted by highly qualified teachers.
