IT Specialist from IITU Taught Shymkent Teachers How to Use Meshnet

In June 2022, Chief Specialist of the Department of Technical and IT Support at IITU JSC Altynbek Nazarbay traveled to Shymkent to explain the extended functionality of the Akelius educational platform, namely the updated Meshnet 2.0 function.

During the trip Altynbek Nazarbay visited secondary school No. 76 named after R. Myrzashev, secondary school No. 39 named after M. Zhumabayev and school-gymnasium No. 50. The new feature, according to the developers, will greatly facilitate the offline use of the application.

“During the trip, I explained how Meshnet 2.0 works and how the QR code for enrolling students is applied. Once again, the general description of the platform was given namely how it functions and how to work with tablets. I answered all the questions, explained to the teachers how to correct mistakes if any,” Altynbek Nazarbay commented on his trip.

Now on the Akelius platform, A0, A1, A1.1, A2 (basic) and B0 (intermediate) levels are available. Pilot school teachers work with three age groups of repatriate children: 5-9 years old, 10-14 years old, 15-17 years old. It is expected that by the end of the project (February 2023), 250 children in the country will have completed this course.
