IITU teachers trained on the use of Trello Dashboard
On November 30, 2021, IITU teachers were trained on the use of the Trello Dashboard platform. The training was held as part of a joint project with Akelius and UNICEF to improve the literacy level of children who moved to Kazakhstan and do not speak Russian.
During the training, Nazarbay Altynbek, Chief Specialist of the Technical and IT Support Department at IITU JSC, showed how to create tasks in the Trello Dashboard system. This system will allow all project participants to be in touch, monitor the progress of certain tasks, make suggestions, accept, or reject them.
Nazarbay Altynbek explained the choice of the system “This is a popular cloud-based project management system. The Trello interface is simple and user-friendly. The system is multifunctional and can be used both as a personal task tracker and as a CRM for a large IT project”.
IITU has been participating in a joint project with Akelius and UNICEF since November 2021. This initiative is aimed at the socialization of children in difficult life situations. The project involves 9 schools in Kazakhstan, whose teachers conduct classes in the blended learning format using the Akelius platform.
The content of the platform is added by the developers of the head office, who make lists of new words for each level. Topics created based on these lists are then distributed among the chapters of each level. Language and methodological experts of IITU comment on these lessons, develop manuals for schoolteachers and descriptors for assessing student achievement.
