IITU Specialist Attended UNICEF Training in Berlin

On February 20-25, 2022, Altynbek Nazarbay, Chief Specialist of the Department of Technical Support and IT Support at MUIT JSC, traveled to Berlin, where he met with the course developers and took part in the training “The Akelius digital language learning application” as part of the UNICEF Kazakhstan project.

As a result of the training, he received the necessary knowledge for further actions to develop the UNICEF Akelius project. During the trip, Altynbek Nazarbay took part in the discussion of the structure and content of the Akelius language application, as well as the differences between online and offline use cases.

“In the offline application, MeshNet 1.0 technology (based on p2p technology and wi-fi direct) and MeshNet 2.0 (client-server based) and understanding of these technologies were considered,” says Altynbek Nazarbay.

He also said that during the trip, the meeting participants considered various options for increasing the memory of tablets, including the creation of a media server. The issues of creating a teacher account for school teachers in the Akelius application were also resolved.

“We received answers to all our questions about Trello board and QR code in Akelius languages ​​application. I am sure that in the future all the knowledge gained will be applied in practice and in trainings with school teachers,” Altynbek Nazarbay emphasized.

As a result of the UNICEF Akelius technology meeting, Altynbek Nazarbai received a certificate of participation.
