Elections for the Youth Affairs Committee

From November 20 to December 9, 2024, the university held elections for the Chair of the Youth Affairs Committee. The elections were a significant event aimed at developing student self-governance and engaging youth in public life.

One of the key stages of the campaign was the candidate debates, which were broadcast live. The debates allowed participants to present their programs, discuss pressing youth issues, and propose solutions. This event generated great interest among students, who actively followed the speeches and participated in discussions.

More than 70% of students took part in the elections, demonstrating a high level of engagement in shaping the committee’s leadership. The election results were announced on December 9, with student Nurmankhan Armanzhan receiving the highest number of votes and becoming the new Chair.

The elections helped strengthen democratic traditions within the university and marked an important step in the development of student self-governance.
