Meeting for Students and Faculty on Corruption Prevention

On December 9, 2024, the International University of Information Technology hosted a meeting for students and faculty on corruption prevention and combating corruption. The event aimed to promote academic integrity among young people and foster a culture of anti-corruption awareness.

During the meeting, speakers discussed the harm that corruption causes to society and ways to eradicate it, emphasizing the crucial role of youth in this fight. The head of the project office "Almaty - Adaldyq Alany," M.M. Kalimoldin, confidently stated: "We must educate young people about the harmful consequences of corruption and instill in them a strong negative attitude towards it." The role of information technology in combating corruption was also discussed, and students were introduced to modern methods for preventing violations.

To ensure broad media coverage, film crews from the television channels "Qazaqstan Ulttyq Arna," "Khabar TV," and "Perviy Kanal Eurasia" were invited. They recorded key moments of the meeting, interviewed speakers, and captured student and faculty opinions. The highlights of the event were broadcasted to television audiences, helping to expand the event’s impact and promote an anti-corruption culture.

At the end of the meeting, participants took commemorative photos and expressed their gratitude to the organizers. Events like these contribute to increasing young people’s legal literacy and are an essential step toward building an honest society. The university will continue to hold such meetings to enhance legal awareness among students.
