A meeting titled "Women in IT: Opportunities, Development, and Prospects" was held at the Faculty of Computer Technologies and Cybersecurity.
The purpose of the event was to popularize IT professions among students, support the professional development of young women in the tech field, and foster interest in modern digital trends.
The speakers of the event were Saya Edigenova, an invited business and systems analyst with experience in banking, investments, and the international IT company Andersen Lab, and Tolganay Chinibayeva, Head of the Computer Engineering Department.
During the meeting, participants learned about modern trends in the IT industry, the specifics of working in international IT teams, and the key skills required for a career as a business and systems analyst. The speakers shared their practical experience in implementing IT projects, discussed professional development, career opportunities, and the role of women in the tech sector.
