A large-scale environmental cleanup took place in the First President’s Park, organized by the Bostandyq District Akimat as part of the national “Clean Kazakhstan” campaign. Students and staff of the International University of Information Technologies took an active part in the event.

Participants cleaned the park area from household waste, tended to the green spaces, and contributed to the improvement of public areas. Youth organizations and district volunteers also joined the initiative.

Representatives of the university emphasized the importance of fostering environmental awareness among young people and noted that participation in such activities helps develop civic responsibility and a careful attitude toward the environment.

The “Clean Kazakhstan” environmental campaign is held nationwide and aims to improve the sanitary condition of cities, promote environmental culture, and involve the population in caring for nature.
