On December 4, our university hosted an intra-university event for staff entitled “UNAI Day: Integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into University Operations”. The Department of Global Education together with the newly established Center for the Integration of Sustainable Development Goals and the Department of International Cooperation brought together about 50 employees from all departments to discuss important aspects of sustainable development and challenges facing the university.
The event focused on discussing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are a global benchmark for improving the quality of life and preserving our planet, the opportunities for their integration into the activities of all units, and the prospects for the university's development that are opened up through the systemic integration of the SDGs at all levels of management.
During the event, the current state of SDGs integration into university activities was diagnosed, the results were analyzed, and feedback was collected from both academic and administrative units of the university. This analysis will be used as a basis for developing more effective strategies for integrating SDGs into IITU activities.
We thank all participants for their active participation, engagement and valuable ideas! Together we can make the world a better place.
