On February 4, 2026, a meeting titled "Mukagali – Eternal Life," dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Mukagali Makatayev, was held at IITU, organized by the Kazakh Language Section and the library team.

During the event, participants discussed the poet's life path and creative legacy, and recited his poignant poems.

The guests of honor included Bakhytgul Kydyrbaikyzy Aydarova and the great poet's son, Zhuldyz Mukagaliuly Makatayev.

The evening provided spiritual inspiration to all attendees and once again reminded everyone of the greatness of the poet's legacy. The event concluded with a commemorative photo session.
