A meaningful meeting titled "Youth – the Future of the Nation" was organized in Almaty, bringing together nearly 300 active students from 20 higher education institutions. Active youth from the International Information Technology University (IITU) also participated in the event, contributing to the exchange of views.
The event was held in an open dialogue format with the participation of Akerke Abylaikhanqyzy, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main goal of the event was to discuss the strategic significance and legal nature of the referendum, highlighting its role in ensuring the country's development and social stability. Additionally, mechanisms for enhancing the political culture of youth, strengthening civic responsibility, and encouraging active participation in the decision-making process were widely discussed.
During the meeting, Akerke Abylaikhanqyzy focused on the priority areas of state policy aimed at supporting the potential of the youth, urging the younger generation to take a responsible approach to the country's future. As an advocate for the youth, she emphasized that student initiatives will always find support.
Within the framework of the event, the best active students of the city were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Sayasat Nurbek. This serves as a high recognition of the youth's public engagement and social initiatives.
