A informative meeting dedicated to the history of formation and the modern achievements of Kazakhstani boxing was held at the International University of Information Technologies. The event was attended by representatives of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation, Olympic champions, sports veterans, and public figures.
During the meeting, the stages of development of the national boxing school, successes in international arenas, and future directions were discussed. Participants shared their views on the role of sports in shaping the country’s image and its importance in educating the younger generation.
As part of the event, an excerpt from a documentary film covering the 85-year history of Kazakh boxing was screened, and a presentation of the book “Gennady Rozhkov” by Professor Kassym Maulenov also took place.
At the conclusion of the meeting, veterans who have made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh boxing were awarded the honorary badge “Veteran of Boxing of Kazakhstan.” The recipients of this award were: K.B.
