ITFest 2025 invites you to the “Film & Video” section — a space where an idea becomes a story, and 24 hours of creativity can bring you victory!
If you see the world through the lens, this is your moment. Participants receive their topic via randomizer and have 24 hours to produce a 3–7 minute video project. Any format is welcome: short film, animation, documentary, clip, video art, new media, interactive pieces, VR, 360°, and more.

📍 Location: Almaty, “Atakent” Exhibition Center, Film & Video Zone.

📅 Dates:
December 5 — masterclasses and topic selection.
December 6 — submission, evaluation, and results.

Open to everyone: students, schoolchildren, enthusiasts, professionals, and international teams. Teams: 1–3 members. Participation is free.

🏆 Prizes:
1st place — 250,000 KZT
2nd place — 200,000 KZT
3rd place — 150,000 KZT

🎓 Additional grants for school students (100%, 75%, 50%) — awarded either in the overall top-3 or in a separate school ranking.

Projects will be evaluated based on five criteria: relevance to the topic, originality, artistic quality, technical complexity, and audience impact.
