On 15 May 2026 the Faculties of Business, Media and Management, and Computer Technologies and Cybersecurity organized an event themed "A Strong Family is the Solid Foundation of Society" dedicated to the International Day of Families.

During the event, IITU psychologist Banum Almasovna Kussainova gave a speech, discussing family values, mutual understanding within the family, the culture of support, and the development of healthy interpersonal relationships with the students.

Throughout the meeting, participants discussed the significance of family in a person's life, emphasizing that love and respect are the bedrock of strong relationships, while trust, support, and responsibility help strengthen family unity. Special attention was given to family traditions as a vital value that reinforces the bond, unity, and mutual understanding among family members.

Additionally, the event touched upon the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the role of the family institution in society and the importance of preserving family values.

The event aimed to strengthen family values, foster the spiritual and moral education of the youth, and cultivate a culture of open dialogue among students.
