From February 26 to 28, 2026, the international winter media school “Media – Conflicts – Propaganda” was held at Adam Mickiewicz University. Students from the International Information Technology University (IITU) in Kazakhstan took part in the program.
During the three-day event, participants attended lectures on political film analysis, combating disinformation, internet security, and freedom of speech. In addition, students exchanged international experiences and explored the role of media in modern society. The program also included special lectures, discussions, and a guided campus tour.
“This media school was a valuable experience for me. We learned not only theory but also practical skills. Now I feel more confident in the field of journalism,” said Aknur Bagdat, a participant of the program.
The Winter Media School is an international educational program designed for students. It focuses on the relationship between media, politics, and society. Such programs provide participants with a deeper understanding of current issues such as disinformation, information security, and media ethics.
