From May 12 to 15, 2026, Astana hosted the 6th IEEE International Conference on Smart Information Systems and Technologies (SIST), bringing together scientists, industry professionals, researchers, and students from across the globe.

Acting Chairperson of the Board – Rector of the International Information Technology University, K.V. Kolesnikova, took part in the conference, representing the university at one of the key international scientific and technological platforms in the region.

The conference covered a wide range of актуal topics, including technology and engineering management, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, and advanced IT applications.

Participation in such a high-level international event highlights the university’s strong global standing, its active engagement in the international academic community, and its commitment to advancing cutting-edge research.
