At the invitation of Mariano Marcos State University (Philippines), the International University of Information Technology (IITU) participated in the Global Conference on Teacher Education, Research, and Innovation (GCTERI 2026), held online from April 28–30, 2026. On the second day, PhD, Associate Professor, and Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Dr. Tolganay Chinibayeva, delivered a presentation on the topic "Open Science and Ethics in IT- and AI-Enabled Research: IITU’s Experience".
