IITU signed a Letter of Intent with Open University Malaysia (OUM)!
Within the framework of his visit to Malaysia on October 25-26, 2024, Chairman of the Board-Rector of MUIT Isakhov Asylbek Abdiyashimovich met with the leadership of OUM. At the meeting the issues of institutional partnership, joint implementation of educational programs, application and adaptation of OUM practice on recognition of practical experience for the purposes of continuous development were discussed.
The signing of the Agreement took place within the framework of OUM events dedicated to the 28th graduation of OUM, and representatives of MUIT participated as guests of honor at the graduation ceremony of more than 6,000 graduates of the Class of 2024.
Established in August 2000, Open University Malaysia is owned by Multimedia Technology Enhancement Operations Sdn Bhd (METEOR), a consortium of the first 11 public universities in Malaysia. OUM's undergraduate and graduate programs are recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, Department of Public Service.
