Yesterday, December 26, the first meeting of the Industrial Council of IITU JSC was held, where the most important issues of improving the quality of education were considered. The main topics included the approval of the Chairman and composition of the Council for the 2024-2025 academic year.
During the meeting a detailed analysis of the curricula of the faculties “Computer Technologies and Cyber Security” and “Business, Media and Management” was carried out. It also discussed the development of research and innovation activities, finding new research opportunities and creating collaborative projects with industry.
The session was an excellent platform for developing joint programs of additional education with employers from various companies. New initiatives such as certification courses, internships, trainings, expert sessions and retraining of specialists, including teachers, were proposed as part of the discussion. In addition, the issues of coordination of joint educational and scientific projects were considered, including development of dual education programs, creation of joint master's and PhD programs with leading companies, as well as organization of internships and practicums for students.
As a result of the Industrial Council, Aibolat Kulatay, “Thousand IT Group” LLP was appointed as the Chairman. We congratulate Aibolat on his appointment and hope for further fruitful cooperation.
