At IITU (International Information Technology University), the traditional Nauryznama Decade was held, celebrating spring, renewal, and national traditions. Each day of the decade featured themed events.
March 14 – Greeting Day (Körisu)
The Nauryz celebrations began with Greeting Day, when students and staff exchange kind wishes. The event was organized by the Department of Social Affairs and Educational Work.
March 15 – Charity Day
This day was dedicated to initiatives benefiting the community. The volunteer organization Ashyq Zhurek presented its projects. Charity Day promotes kindness and mutual support.
March 16 – Culture and National Traditions Day
Students learned about traditional life and customs through exhibitions and demonstrations. As part of the Nauryz Meta Fest, a VR yurt was presented, allowing students to experience culture in an innovative format.
March 17 – Shanyraq Day
Shanyraq Day emphasizes friendship and unity. International students participated and shared their cultures, fostering multicultural dialogue within the university.
March 18 – National Clothing Day
Students and staff showcased their respect for culture by wearing traditional clothing.
March 19 – Renewal Day
During Eco Day, ecological initiatives and digital environment development proposals were discussed. National sports tournaments, intellectual games, and the Startup Demo Day were also held, giving students the opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas.
March 23 – Cleaning Day (Tazaru)
The decade concluded with cleaning the university buildings and surrounding areas. Students and staff contributed to maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
The Nauryznama Decade at IITU was not only a celebration but also an important event promoting tradition, unity, environmental awareness, and student creativity.
