A Meeting with Students on a Legal Topic Was Held at IITU

AAs part of promoting the "Law and Order" principle and with the support of the Almaty Center for Social Development, a meeting with students was held at the International Information Technology University (IITU) on the topic: "The Right to Personal Freedom: Legal Foundations and Liability for Violence, Stalking, and Forced Marriage."


Representatives of the Prosecutor's Office, the legal community, and law specialists participated in the event as speakers. The experts delivered comprehensive reports on current issues regarding the protection of citizens' rights and freedoms.

The primary goal of the meeting was to improve the legal literacy of students, clarify the legal foundations of the right to personal freedom, and inform them about the liability measures provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for violence, stalking, and forced marriage. The speakers elaborated on the norms of current legislation, mechanisms for legal protection, and crime prevention, citing practical examples from their professional experience.

During the event, students actively asked questions and received expert explanations from representatives of law enforcement agencies and the legal community. Particular attention was paid to issues of personal safety, the steps to take in case of rights violations, and avenues for obtaining legal assistance.


The meeting was held in an open dialogue format and served as an important platform for shaping legal culture and strengthening the principles of legality among the youth.
