Chairman of the Board - Rector of MUIT spoke at the international conference “CONNECTED 2024” in Astana!
From October 18 to 19, 2024, Astana hosted the international conference CONNECTED-2024, dedicated to understanding the image of the future.
This large-scale event brought together about 1500 delegates from more than 20 countries and became a unique platform for discussing creative ideas, forecasting future strategies and sharing best practices.
At the opening ceremony of “CONNECTED 2024” Deputy Prime Minister Tamara Duisenova conveyed greetings from President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, emphasizing the importance of creating an academic hub in Kazakhstan and strengthening international ties in science and education. Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, in turn, noted the dilemma of Kazakhstani education between the preservation of traditional curricula and the need to adapt to new challenges related to artificial intelligence.
The conference program covered three key verticals: “Future Shaping”, “Future Education & Science” and “EdTech and Impact Entrepreneurship”.
Rector Asylbek Abdiashimovich made a speech in the first category on “Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education: from interest to implementation strategy”. In his speech, he focused on the importance of AI in learning, emphasizing its role in creating personalized educational routes and supporting students. The Rector also discussed the need to build intellectual capital as a key element of global leadership.
