A delegation from the International Information Technology University (IITU) visited one of China's leading universities, Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). During the visit, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Board–Rector of IITU, Assylbek Issakhov, and the Rector of XJTU, Academician Zhang Liqun.

The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and expressed their willingness to develop academic exchange programs for students and faculty, as well as to conduct joint research activities, including in the fields of artificial intelligence and digitalization of education. An agreement was reached on IITU’s participation in the projects of the Silk Road University Alliance, which is led by XJTU. Additionally, IITU students will have the opportunity to take part in XJTU’s summer school program.

During the visit, the delegation also toured scientific laboratories and research centers, academic buildings, and the university’s history museum. In the near future, XJTU scholars will visit Almaty to participate in scientific conferences and events organized by IITU.
