The International Information Technology University (IITU) has officially become an Academic Member of the Global Computing Consortium (GCC) — the only international organization in the field of computing technologies approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China.
The GCC brings together leading global technology providers, manufacturers, system integrators, corporate users, and research institutions with the goal of shaping a new architecture for computing technologies, developing international standards, and building an innovative ecosystem in the field of computing.
Membership in the GCC provides IITU with significant opportunities:
- Participation in the development of global standards and computing technology architecture.
- Access to cutting-edge scientific and technological developments in open-source software and hardware.
- Integration into the international value chain of the computing technology industry.
- Engagement in joint research and educational projects, including ARM architecture, high-performance computing, and intelligent systems.
The GCC is headquartered in the Shenzhen–Hong Kong Technology and Innovation Cooperation Zone — an international hub that combines the advantages of different economic and legal systems.
Joining the GCC is a strategic step towards strengthening IITU’s research and educational potential, expanding international cooperation, and contributing to the sustainable development of the digital and intelligent society.
