One of the most anticipated events of the autumn season – the “Freshmen Welcoming Ceremony” (“Welcome to IITU”) – took place at the Bakshasaray Event Hall. More than a thousand first-year students, faculty members, and guests of the university attended this grand celebration.

The event opened with a spectacular performance by the Dream Lights group. The Acting Chairperson of the Board – Rector addressed the students with a welcoming speech, congratulating the freshmen on this important step in their professional journey and wishing them successful studies and active participation in university life.

Following the parade of student organizations and clubs, IITU’s student creative groups performed on stage – the dance team Shadows and the vocal-instrumental ensemble Auen, as well as DJ Darkhan and invited headliners Bayansulu and Delacure, who created an unforgettable atmosphere full of energy and excitement. The audience enjoyed vocal, dance, and instrumental performances, including the premiere of a musical rap track composed and performed by IITU student Bagzhan Orazbek.

The event concluded with a festive photo session, leaving all participants with vivid emotions and unforgettable memories.
