At the International Information Technology University, a large-scale "Eco Day" was held as part of the national campaign Taza Kazakhstan and the initiative Almaty – Our Common Home.

Faculty, staff, and students actively participated in the event by cleaning the university’s campus area, improving green spaces, tidying irrigation ditches, and collecting waste around the university.

Such ecological initiatives are regularly organized at IITU. In addition to clean-up days, the university also hosts lectures and meetings dedicated to environmental awareness and sustainability.
