The 8th International Scientific Conference "Digital Technologies in Education, Science and Industry - 2023" (DTESI 2023) was held on December 6-7, 2023. This scientific event was timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Education Foundation, as well as the 15th anniversary of IITU JSC. The DTESI 2023 conference discussed the latest scientific results in the field of digital development of society.
The order №111-P dated 21.09.2023 "On holding the 8th International Scientific Conference "Digital Technologies in Education, Science and Industry" (DTESI 2023) was issued by the order of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of JSC "IITU", in which the members of the program, organizing committee, reviewers, as well as moderators and secretaries of sections were approved. A total of 80 papers were submitted to the conference, 56 of which were accepted for publication after the review process. Scientists from all over Kazakhstan actively participated in the event. In addition to our university, such universities as Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, L. Gumilev ENU, Kazakh-British Technical University, Astana IT University, G. Daukeev AUES, Abai KazNPU, Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, Narkhoz University, and Narikbayev University were represented.
In addition to the universities of Kazakhstan, the conference was attended by scientists from abroad - these are the universities of:
- Ukraine - Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Odesa National Polytechnic University, National Transport University, Ukrainian National Forestry University, State University of Intellectual Technologies and Communications;
- Turkey - Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi;
- Jordan - Jordan University of Science and Technology;
- Germany - Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development;
- Sweden - Blekinge Tekniska Högskola;
- Portugal - Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa;
- Uzbekistan - Tashkent University of Information Technologies named by Muhammad Al- Khwarizmi;
- Poland - Poznań University of Life Sciences.
At the plenary session on December 6, Vice-Minister of Science and Higher Education Darhan Zhumakanovich Ahmed-Zaki made a welcoming speech.

More than 50 reports were made in offline and online (from abroad and other cities of Kazakhstan) format.
The main objective of the conference was to share best practices and knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies.
