17.06.2026

International Information Technology University has taken a significant step toward expanding its international academic footprint. During the official visit of the KNUCA (Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture) Rector, Oleksii Dniprov, to the Republic of Kazakhstan, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two institutions. This agreement bridges the gap between high-end digital technologies and modern urban infrastructure developments.

The core of this collaboration is centered on collaborative fundamental and applied research. The universities aim to deploy advanced IT and engineering solutions in construction, architecture, urban planning, and the digital transformation of infrastructure. Both institutions plan to actively share research findings and institutional expertise. Furthermore, academic mobility will be prioritized, allowing students, faculty members, and researchers to participate in exchange programs, scientific internships, and joint conferences.

The memorandum also outlines plans for joint supervision of PhD candidates and the engagement of young researchers in innovative projects. A key initiative includes the establishment of shared scientific laboratories and research centers designed to serve as hubs for interdisciplinary experiments and practical solutions. As a premier tech university in Central Asia specializing in AI and software engineering, IITU continues to provide global opportunities and strengthen its position on the international educational map.
