On January 22, 2026, the International Information Technology University (IITU JSC) hosted a meeting between the EcoCode Environmental Club and representatives of the Almaty City Akimat, organized in the format of an open dialogue and expert discussion.
During the event, participants discussed key issues of sustainable development, the formation of environmental culture, and practical measures to improve the ecological situation in the city of Almaty. Special attention was given to the implementation of the city environmental project “Taza Qala,” aimed at improving urban areas, cleaning city and natural spaces, landscaping, as well as engaging youth and the public in voluntary environmental initiatives.
Such meetings contribute to the development of students’ active civic engagement, strengthen cooperation between the university and city authorities, and promote the formation of a sustainable future. 🌍💚
