On April 21, 2026, the International Information Technology University hosted a meeting dedicated to Integrity Day.
Representatives of government agencies and the university took part in the event as speakers, including:
- Prosecutor's Office of the Bostandyk District of Almaty – Senior Department Prosecutor Meruert Yerlankyzy Zhusipbek, Department Prosecutor Serikbolsyn Talgatuly Kenzhebek;
- Investigation Department of the Medeu District Police Department of Almaty – Investigator Bakhtishat Rishatzhanovich Kutlush;
- JSC "International Information Technology University" – Director of the Legal Department Aidos Kairatuly Kerimbek.
During the meeting, experts delivered informative presentations covering pressing issues of compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, improving students' legal literacy, and preventing offenses among the youth. Special attention was paid to explaining the concept of integrity as a crucial principle of civic responsibility, which includes honesty, law-abidingness, and an active civic position.
The speakers elaborated on the legal aspects of everyday life, mechanisms for protecting citizens' rights, and measures of responsibility for committing offenses. Participants were provided with practical recommendations for safe behavior and action algorithms in case their rights are violated.
The event was held in an open dialogue format: students actively asked questions and received competent and detailed answers from representatives of law enforcement agencies, the investigation department of the Police Department, and the legal community.
Holding such meetings contributes to the formation of a legal culture among young people, strengthening the principles of integrity, and increasing the level of trust in state and legal institutions.
