Professor Batyrkhan Omarov and PhD students Olzhas Olzhayev and Zeynel Momynkulov from the International Information Technology University (IITU) took part in the social talk show “Köremiz Show”, broadcast on the “Eurasia” TV channel.
The episode was dedicated to Republic Day of Kazakhstan – a national holiday symbolizing unity, independence, and progressive development of the country.
During the broadcast, IITU scientists presented their innovative development – a collaborative robot. The project began last year as part of a scientific initiative aimed at creating an intelligent robotic system for industrial use – including welding, marking, and other high-precision technological operations.
The main goal of the project is to integrate artificial intelligence, enabling the robot to learn, adapt to its working environment, and interact efficiently with humans. This approach fosters true human–robot collaboration, where the robot becomes an assistant that enhances productivity and eases industrial workflows.
The participation of IITU representatives in the television program not only showcased the university’s scientific and engineering potential, but also highlighted the contribution of Kazakhstani researchers to the development of robotics and intelligent technologies – perfectly reflecting the spirit of independence and innovation celebrated on Republic Day.
