The International Students Club IITU teambuilding event for foreign students studying at the International Information Technology University took place at the Youth Community Center of the Bostandyk District.
Participants were warmly welcomed by the student ensemble of Kazakh folk instruments, "Qazyna", which performed traditional kyuis and popular musical compositions. Guests also enjoyed a traditional Kazakh dastarkhan and a tasting of national dishes, allowing them to experience the hospitality and rich culinary traditions of the Kazakh people.
Students who came to IITU from different countries were greeted by the Chairman of the Board – Rector Assylbek Issakhov, who extended his best wishes. As part of the event program, an intellectual quest around the world, master classes on togyzkumalak and bestas, and a presentation by the Youth Affairs Committee were held for the participants. Representatives of the student club "Uly Mura" shared insights into the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and significant historical events of the Kazakh people. The vibrant and friendly atmosphere was further enhanced by energetic performances from the dance group "Shadows".
The International Students Club teambuilding event became a platform for new friendships and cultural exchange, helping foreign students integrate into the university environment and engage in student life and self-governance.
