Happy Day of Science Workers in Kazakhstan!
12.04.2021

Dear scientists, teachers, doctoral students, undergraduates, students and colleagues, we congratulate you on the Day of Science Workers of Kazakhstan!

April 12 is defined as the "Day of Science Workers" by the Decree of the President of the Republic No. 164 of October 20, 2011. Historically, this holiday was timed to the birthday of Academician K. I. Satpayev – the first President of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. Kanysh Imantayevich Satpayev stood at the origins of the organization of scientific activity in Kazakhstan, almost all his life devoted to science and its development in his native country.

Science plays an important role in the development of the country's economy. Without science, the introduction of new technologies and knowledge, without digitalization, as we are now convinced, success is impossible both in the economy and in the social sphere. Kazakh scientists are actively working on solving important problems, developing promising areas of domestic science. The state, for its part, takes active measures to support promising research centers, creates conditions for the professional growth of scientists.

Every year, the scientific potential of our team also increases, in a number of areas, the university is widely known for its work in scientific circles, scientific schools have been formed, fundamental and applied research is conducted, and international relations are developing.

The work of a scientist is always interesting, hard work, which at all times commands respect. You make an invaluable contribution to the development of science with your work, energy and enthusiasm.

On this significant day, we would like to thank you for your daily hard work, those unique projects and works, in the plans and implementation of which the spirit of Russian science is realized. We wish you every new day to be full of creative and unique ideas, useful and great discoveries, interesting and worthy achievements!
